Communication is the transmission of message from a sender to a receiver.
Explicit and Implicit are the two types of communication.
Explicit communication is the use of language to establish common understanding among people while implicit communication is based on ambiguity – gesture, vocal tone, facial expression, body language and actions – which are non-verbal.
Communication can also be expressed in content and context. The words and sentence construction is content while the way you say them and actions done while you say them is context. The full context is everything other than words that can be heard or experienced by all the people involved.
