THE BELTS ARE BACK HOME
Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua won his rematch bout against Andy Ruiz in style by paying homage to Nigeria (Naija), as usual, before the fight regaling spectators with Fela’s song, “Water No Get Enemy”, at the Diriyah Arena as he made his entry into the ring. Did I not say he was locally fortified?

Though in high contrast in speech, Joshua reminds me of Muhammed Ali in his defeats and comebacks to reclaim the heavyweight title. More so, he’s also as good looking as Ali, if not better. Others are just way too ugly to be heavyweight champions, in Ali’s voice, as he once told Liston before a fight.
Need I remind you that Ali reclaimed his heavyweight belt against George Foreman away from the West here in Africa, Zaire, now Congo, in a match tagged ” the Royal Rumble”? Joshua does same away from the West in the Middle East in Saudi Arabia. Don’t you see the similarities?
I hope and pray Joshua goes on to surpass Muhammed Ali in record and exploits.
Congrats Oluwafemi!
Proudly Nigeria.
Who’s next?
